Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)

Government legislation requires that all Residential and Commercial re-sale and rental properties on the market and coming onto the market in Northern Ireland (with effect from 30th June 2008) require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).

The Energy Efficiency rating is a measure of the overall efficiency of a home. Legislation will require that the energy rating is clearly displayed on property sales and rental particulars so that potential purchasers or tenants can make informed decisions.
