Vendors/Property Owners

Landlords

From 30th December 2008 all dwellings being marketed for rent need an Energy Performance Certificate.  Landlords must make this available to all prospective tenants and give a hard copy, free of charge, to the selected tenant.

Energy Performance Certificates are currently valid for up to 10 years and do not need to be re-calculated unless a property has been altered in a way that may affect the rating.
